It moves us, and we are enormously proud to receive the testimonies of our brides on their wedding day.
It fills us with satisfaction to see our girls dressed with Franc Sarabia’s designs, radiating happiness and illusion, and at the same time being able to relive an authentic and emotional day through the photographs and emotive words they dedicate to us.In this post you will discover how the wedding of one of our beautiful brides, Raquel García, took place, and also be able to see some of the photos of her precious wedding story.
An idyllic wedding, perfectly organized.
As Mahatma Gandhi said, "where there is love, there is life", something that Raquel carried out when organizing her ceremony. She got married on July 22, 2017 in Peñaflor, Seville, where the bride and groom were raised. Specifically, the event took place at 9:00 p.m. at San Pedro Apóstol Church.
One of the most significant signs of Raquel's wedding was taking care of every detail, achieving absolute exclusivity. At mass the couple selected the music that was accompanied all the time by the groom's family, enveloping the ceremony in a jovial and passionate atmosphere. For mass, the bride and groom designed missals and handed out fans with their initials.
"It was a beautiful day, we took care of every detail and we will never forget it"
Franc Sarabia’s fitting: A festival of emotions.
"When we got to the atelier I was overflowing with excitement and nervousness, same as my mother, my mother-in-law, my sister and my cousin who accompanied me."
The day that Raquel tried on her wedding dress at our atelier, there was laughter, crying, singing and dancing, so says the bride. She visited our atelier with her family, who enjoyed a beautiful parade that Raquel made for us trying on ten different wedding dresses. Shortly before finishing the dress fitting, we brought Raquel a simple and elegant dress that would fill her with excitement and joy. Through her face we could tell that it was the dress of her dreams.
This Franc Sarabia design was an exclusive, custom-made design with a bateau neckline and vintage gold details on its waist, sleeves and back. Raquel was impressed with her 3-meter long train that made her look spectacular and which she accompanied with a bone-colored “mantilla” that her mother gave her, and that combined perfectly with the dress’ lace.
Her shoes were pale pink and her earrings, designed for the occasion, matched an antique tiara inherited from her husband's family. His bouquet was made of safflower, bearing on it an old medal of her town’s Virgin, the "Virgin of Villadiego."Another detail that made her wedding unique was the earnest, a gift from the groom's grandfather, placed in a golden box that had a great value for the couple.
The rings and the antique fan worn by the bride were also enormously significant details that formed part of this "fairytale".
“I bet on Franc Sarabia because I love the style of his dresses and knowing my dress would be custom-made so they could also change or add what I wanted, was decisive for my election. In addition, the personal treatment was spectacular"
Love does the impossible.
Raquel describes her wedding day with just one word: Happiness.
With this sublime day that Raquel lived, we want to encourage all those brides who have had to postpone their weddings, not to lose the illusion on this special day. The most important thing is to have patience and faith in the improvement of the situation, knowing that this will return to normal as soon as possible. Enjoy every detail, your wedding preparations, the love of your family and your perfect wedding dress.
